Service Description

A Monroe piercing is a lip piercing placed off-center, above the upper lip on the left-hand side and is meant to resemble Marilyn Monroe's beauty spot, although Monroe's beauty spot was on her cheek, not her lip. The Madonna piercing is similar but worn on the right-hand side. ~Monroe piercings generally have a moderate pain level (often rated 3–5 on a 10-point scale) and take 6 to 12 weeks to heal, though the inner mouth area may take up to 3–6 months for complete healing. Swelling is common, usually requiring an initially longer stud, with significant healing occurring within the first few weeks. All jewelry is included in the cost. If you are unable to make it to your appointment please call ahead of time. If you do not call ahead to tell us you'll be late and or show up 10 minutes or more to your appointment, you will be considered a no call no show. In this event the deposit is forfeited and would require a $10 walkin fee to still get the piercing. Alternatively an appointment can be rescheduled through the same means as use previously. No children are allowed unless they are getting a piercing and there also is a cat on the premises.
